Additional info
1. Cruise Control: Speed Limit Regulations - Zooming into the ArtFarm Movie Ranch? Hold your horses – we've got some speed rules to keep everyone safe and sound! When you're cruising down our dirt road, keep it steady at max 20 miles per hour. It's the perfect pace to enjoy the scenery without kicking up too much dust and making our neighbors mad! Once you roll onto our ranch, it's time to switch to turtle mode and hit the brakes – literally! We're talking a snail's pace of 5 miles per hour. Trust us, there's no rush here – just plenty of time to take in the surroundings and maybe even spot a few furry friends and kiddos along the way.
Now, we know you're all responsible adventurers, but here's a friendly reminder – speeding and reckless driving ain't our style. So, if you've got a lead foot or a need for speed, you'll be dishing out a $50 fine per violation or be asked to leave. Let's keep it safe and fun for everyone.
2. High on Life Policy: Drug-Free Zone - Hey party people! Here's the lowdown – we're all about good vibes and epic adventures at the ArtFarm Movie Ranch, but when it comes to drugs, we're as serious as a cowboy in a showdown. We have zero tolerance for illegal drugs and/or anyone who abuses prescription drugs on our property. This means zero, zilch, nada tolerance for illegal drugs or abusing prescription meds or even plant medicine on our turf. We're here to be high on life, not on substances that mess with your groove. So, if you're thinking of bringing anything funky to the party, think again. We've got our eyes peeled and our noses sniffing out any funny business. Trust us, you don't want to be the one caught in the sheriff's spotlight. Let's keep it clean, keep it fun, and keep it legal, folks. Break this rule, and you'll be hitting the trail faster than you can say 'yeehaw'. Seriously, don't test us – we're not messing around when it comes to keeping our ranch a safe and drug-free zone. Thanks for keeping it real and staying on the right side of the law.
3. Community Campfire: Fire Safety Measures - Love campfires and s'mores? We do too! We have an awesome campfire space at our “Top Of The Hill” western saloon/bar area for good campfire times. This being said, there are absolutely NO OPEN FLAME / CAMPFIRES allowed anywhere on our property. Being that we are in a high danger fire zone, we are super strict about this! No exceptions. Fact is, our location resides in a high fire risk area. This means that smoking is restricted to designated areas ONLY, which is at the “Hill Top Saloon," cleared areas around Wild Billy's Cantina, your front porch(if you have a Glamping Pod), or a campsite with an ashtray. Any individual found smoking in forest and dry grass areas, or those who smoke at their camp area without a visibly displayed ashtray will be asked to leave immediately. So don’t risk it! This includes 420 smokers! It’s a big fire hazard and one lit up, or not properly extinguished cigarette, or joint blown into high dry grass can set everything ablaze! Furthermore, campfires with open flames are strictly prohibited unless explicitly authorized by the owner and accompanied by adherence to stringent fire safety protocols. We do have a gas fire pit up at the western saloon where you're able to enjoy a fire, grill hot dogs and s’mores, and enjoy the campfire vibe we all love! So if you're coming for this, please speak to us! We will need to notify our fire safety expert to be on call and to operate the gas pit, so we will need a heads up!
4. Exploration Alert: Wildlife and Surroundings - Get ready to embrace the untamed! Your stay here is a journey into the heart of ranch life – where every moment is filled with excitement, from encounters with our critter companions to exploring relics of the past. Remember, the wilderness is a realm of freedom and unpredictability! So, gear up for navigating rugged terrain and mingling with our playful critters, because this adventure is not for the faint-hearted! Kiddos are more than welcome, but they'll need responsible parents to join in on the fun. We highly suggest looking up the Leona Valley local wildlife and insects to know about, and the local weather conditions. By staying here, we're each signing up for the thrill of the unknown and taking charge of our own safety.
5. Blast from the Past: Adventure Advisory - As you explore our ranch, keep an eye out for relics of the past, including rusted nails from over 60 years ago. While driving around, you might encounter these remnants, so consider this a friendly heads-up! Please be aware that we are not responsible for any tire damage caused by these relics. It's all part of the adventure, so take precautions and enjoy the ride!
6. No Trespassin': No Uninvited Guests or Visitors - Our homestead is our private sanctuary, exclusively for invited guests only. While it's a cherished haven for our 'OHANA,' intruders won't find a warm welcome here.
7. Dog Off-Leash Policy and Rules:
•Dogs are welcome to roam off-leash within designated areas of the ranch, provided they are well-socialized, obedient, and under their owner's control at all times.
•Owners must ensure that their dogs are people, dog, and livestock-friendly. Any aggressive behavior towards humans, other animals, or livestock will not be tolerated. We will not allow your dog off leash if they attack any pet, person, or livestock.
•Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste bags are available for purchase at our Loco Kalaheo Store.
•While off-leash, dogs must remain within eyesight of their owners and respond promptly to voice commands.
•For the safety of all guests and animals, female dogs in heat are not permitted off-leash on the premises.
•Owners are encouraged to be mindful of wildlife and livestock on the ranch and keep their dogs under control to avoid disturbances.
•Any incidents involving dogs must be reported to ranch staff immediately.
•If you are afraid of dogs or animals, this might not be the place for you. However, we encourage guests to overcome their fears and potentially form friendships with our super-friendly ranch dog! Let's ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone – two-legged and four-legged alike.
•Our ranch dogs will be off leash on the property at all times. They work diligently to keep us safe from coyotes, snakes, and other kinds of predators! You will see them walking around, checking out the scene and making sure there's no funny business. These sheriffs may look serious, but they are usually very welcoming to guests, and love to meet to people and best friends! Please be sure to remain calm with them, and make sure your dogs are getting along well.
8. Positive Vibes Only: Neighborly Notice - Be friendly and courteous to everyone on-site, or you will be asked to leave. We don’t like mean people, so spread positivity like confetti! ArtFarm is a place to connect, collaborate, and create a world worth dreaming about. We're here to focus on what brings us together as human beings rather than what divides us!
POSITIVE VIBES only! Please know that while we understand that people don't always agree, we will not tolerate anyone who uses abusive language like yelling, screaming, or insulting anyone, be it your spouse, kids, friends or other guests. If you do that, you WILL be asked to leave, no exceptions. We are super strict about this.
We reserve the right to enforce our house rules and policies to ensure everyone visiting ArtFarm is having a relaxing, stress free time while staying here! So please be nice and keep the peace!
9. Lights Out: Quiet Hours - As this is a friendly family space, we prefer to have the volume at the cabin areas relatively peaceful by 11 PM. However, up at our western saloon, there are no quiet hours! Feel free to sing campfire songs all night long at our Hill Top Bar.
10. Risk Acknowledgment - By booking, the guest acknowledges that this is a working ranch and staying here comes with inherent risks, including accidents caused by terrain, wildlife, weather, unforeseen obstacles, and negligence. Guests agree to assume all such risks and take necessary precautions for their own safety, and their animals safety.
11. Indemnify and Hold Harmless: By booking, the guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless any and all location owners, managers, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or relating to any accidents, injuries, death, or material damages occurring while here at the property.
