Imported from Indonesia and nestled in a peaceful, wooded setting, this unique cottage is located in the countryside of Petaluma, California, and can accommodate two guests for an idyllic romantic getaway. The cottage provides guests with one bedroom and one full bathroom, along with a sitting area, a private deck, and a hot tub, all of which are set on 2.5 acres of woods and fields.

Entering the bedroom through its hand-carved and painted doorway, guests will find a king-size bed, an antique lamp, and colorful rugs surrounded by rustic carved-wood walls and set beneath an A-frame ceiling with exposed beams. For extra coziness, the bed is equipped with a premium electric mattress heater pad.

A separate building houses the bathroom and sitting area. In the bathroom, guests will find a six-foot bathtub, a walk-in shower, a toilet, and a sink, all of which are surrounded by wood-paneled walls. The sitting area is furnished with a sofa. Both the bathroom and the sitting area are centrally heated. Linens, towels, and toiletries are provided. Other amenities include Wi-Fi and a hairdryer.

Outside, guests will find a private deck with lounge chairs, benches, dining furniture, potted plants, and a hot tub, where guests can relax while enjoying the tranquil atmosphere of the surrounding fields and woods.

With Helen Putnam Regional Park just one mile down the road from the cottage, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a variety of activities in the great outdoors. At the park, they can go hiking, biking, and horseback riding on six miles of trails, which vary in length and difficulty. They can also go fishing for bluegill in the park's fishing pond.

Guests craving the ocean will be just half an hour away from the Pacific coast, where they can visit areas such as Point Reyes National Seashore, Tomales Bay, and Bodega Bay and enjoy activities such as swimming, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, boating, and whale watching.

The cottage's location also makes it well-suited for guests who enjoy wine tasting, as there are a number of vineyards and breweries in the area, and Napa Valley is under an hour away.
