This cottage is located in Petaluma, California, where it is nestled among tall evergreen trees, leafy deciduous trees, and verdant shrubs on a peaceful, 2.5-acre property in the countryside. Strolling across the grounds of the property, guests will find an English Garden, a redwood barn, and a charming treehouse sprinkled across the property's fields and woods, which are bordered by vineyards, ranches, and pastures that are home to six Arabian horses.

Just a mile down the road heading east, guests will find Helen Putnam Regional Park, which encompasses 216 acres of oak woodlands, fields, and grassy hillsides, which are laced with six miles of trails of varying length and difficulty. The park also hosts a playground and a fishing pond inhabited by bluegill. A little further afield, guests can drive to the Pacific coast and visit Point Reyes National Seashore 28 minutes away, Tomales Bay 31 minutes away, and Bodega Bay 35 minutes away.

While the cottage's bucolic setting and secluded location provide guests with plenty of peace and quiet, it is only a six-minute drive from Petaluma's historic downtown, where a variety of excellent restaurants and shops await their enjoyment. The cottage is also conveniently located in relation to the many vineyards, wineries, and breweries that dot the surrounding area, two of which are right down the road: Singer Cellars and Armagh Vineyard
