In one large bedroom, guests will enjoy the queen-size bed, and there's a loft bed for the kids (with an extra twin mattress underneath). Guests have the option to use the sofa bed in the living room to accommodate a larger family. A sauna, an outdoor shower, a claw-foot bathtub, fireplace, vintage books, and games set the stage for restful after-hike evenings spent with loved ones.

This glamping cabin is designed for comfort and convenience with a covered stone patio complete with furniture; it is a great place to sit in the sun and read. There is also an outdoor gas barbecue for the warmer days as well as a wooden porch with seating to admire the views from.

Located in the southern Sierra Nevada foothills, today this cabin is an art-filled retreat just a short drive from Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and Sequoia National Forest. Pinehurst Lodge, a short walk from this glamping cabin, is a locally-owned and operated restaurant in a 100-year-old sawmill. It continues to be a hub of activity for locals and visitors alike. Other nearby historical logging sites are Neff's Camp and Millwood.

Also a summer vacation destination, Pinehurst attracts San Joaquin Valley residents who take advantage of cooler forest temperatures to get relief from the brutally hot Valley summers. Cedarbrook, an early-20th-century cabin community built by Mennonite families from nearby Reedley around a lovely year-round stream, is a 10-minute walk from this cabin.

Today, small cabins used as summer homes, rentals, and by full-time residents are scattered throughout the forest. Pinehurst's year-round population is around 350.
