Our treehouse chalet is surrounded by forest, and perched on a hill amidst the trees, giving strong treehouse vibes.
It is a 3-bed 3-full-bath chalet with a wraparound upper deck off the great room (kitchen/living/dining). It has blazing fast fiber WiFi, a fully stocked kitchen, fresh mountain spring water, electricity and propane for heat. Full central air/heat, 2 car garage, huge concrete driveway to park 6 more cars. It features a hot tub immersed in trees under the starlight, BBQ, firetable, kids playroom with smart TV and gaming console, and the living room also has a smart TV.
It is curated for a "Gold Country" modern-rustic vibe. A newer building built in 2006 with all the modern necessities for a full glamping experience. Cleaning is available during longer stays. Alpine lakes, streams and hundreds of miles of trails beckon. Around the house you can hike amongst the trees. Gas, Groceries and Sundries are nearby, about 10 minutes drive. The cabin is in a special swath of the world's biggest Madrones (a rare hardwood evergreen broadleaf tree that is native to California). Other evergreens surround the property such as Douglas Fir, Incense cedar, dogwood, and other trees of the High Sierras.
