The living room is one of the most unique features of this glamping accommodation. Formed by a single, large stone, it gives the impression of being in a cave, and there's also a second boulder in the middle of the room, right next to a mossy, trout pond. The living room has two enormous fireplaces that go all the way up the 23-foot ceiling, as well as a solarium, which is right next to the dining room, the breakfast corner, and the fully equipped kitchen.
In the kitchen, glampers will find a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, a blender, a coffeemaker and coffee grinder, a microwave, an oven, a stove, a toaster, pantry items, and all necessary cookware and tableware. There is another room in this luxury rental called the "Strube," which has its own private fireplace and serves as a fun, secluded hiding spot to read a book or take a quick snooze. Just grab a book from the library—but don't forget to take a peak at all the fascinating travel mementos mixed in among the hardcovers.
Another feature that guests will surely love are the two expansive, curved balconies that offer excellent views of the surrounding mountain peaks and woodlands of the Tahoe Basin. There is also a private hot tub and a gas barbecue outside for guests' use.
Other amenities feature high-speed Internet, a grand piano, a washer and dryer, a garage and off-street parking, heating, and basic toiletries. Linens and towels are provided. A housekeeper is also included.
