The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a combination bathtub/shower and dual vanities/sinks. Guests will find a full-size bed in the third bedroom and a twin-over-full bunk bed set in the fourth bedroom, which connects to the rental's game room, making it especially well-suited for children. Linens and towels are provided.
In the living room, guests will find a large leather sectional sofa arranged around a 50-inch television and a gas fireplace, all of which is set beneath a vaulted ceiling and a wall full of windows. The game room features a futon, a 40-inch flat-screen television, and a three-in-one ping-pong, pool, and air hockey table.
The dining area seats 10, with additional seating for three at the adjacent breakfast bar. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with double ovens, a gas range, a microwave, a side-by-side refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a coffeemaker.

The vacation rental is just five minutes from the High Meadow Trailhead, eight minutes from restaurants, bars, and live music venues, and 10 minutes from El Dorado Beach and Heavenly Ski. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from Reno, Nevada, where the nearest international airport is located.

For hiking, guests will be within walking distance of an access point to a network of trails that wind through the surrounding national forest lands of the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit, as well as Washoe Meadows State Park and Toiyabe, Eldorado, and Tahoe National Forest. In the winter, guests can also go snowshoeing and cross-country skiing on many of these trails. While exploring them, they will find many opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife viewing.
The nearby High Meadow Trailhead leads to Cold Creek, where guests can go fishing for trout. Fishing spots can also be found at Washoe Meadows State Park. Guests can go boating, fishing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, parasailing, and jet skiing on Lake Tahoe, with rentals available from a variety of local outfitters such as Action Watersports at Timber Cove Marina. The southern shores of the lake are also dotted with numerous beaches such as Keys Beach, Thomas F Regan Memorial City Beach, and El Dorado Beach where guests can go swimming.
For skiing and snowboarding, guests can hit the slopes at Heavenly Mountain Resort. At the resort, guests can also go zip-lining and take a scenic gondola ride in the summer. For golfing, guests can visit the public Lake Tahoe Golf Course. For dining, shopping, spa services, and nightlife, guests will find a variety of options in South Lake Tahoe's downtown area.
