This one-of-a-kind cottage looks like it's out of a fairy tale. It is a lovely mix of antique and modern, nestled in the middle of gorgeous oak trees. The bedroom is tucked away in the upstairs loft, providing a treehouse-feel. Brand new marble bathtub below and kitchenette. Located on our lush 13-acre mountain property with private trails and creek for you to explore!

The space
This one-of-a-kind cottage looks like it's out of a fairy tale. It is a lovely mix of antique and modern, nestled in the middle of a giant oak forest. There is a loft bedroom upstairs with lots of windows and a very luxurious pillow-top queen bed. Adjacent to that is a second queen bed in a smaller "cubby hole". This unit sleeps four but keep in mind the beds are in close proximity which may not be ideal for everyone.
It’s a unique treehouse style.

Downstairs is a living room with lots of stained glass windows and a floor made out of actual stones- (might want to bring slippers for extra walking comfort). There is a kitchenette with a stainless steel sink, fridge, toaster oven, The cottage features a handcrafted bathroom with cedar walls and a large marble bathtub that's over 2 feet deep (decadent soaking available)!

We provide all basic needs except toiletries. There is a k-cup coffee maker and hot water kettle inside the unit.

To complement the 'old world' feel we have a brand new wireless router with extremely fast WIFI at 85mb per sec. We also have a new, very reliable tankless hot water heater that never runs out of hot water for the bath/shower.

You will be nestled in a 13-acre mountain village with other cottages, forests and mountain views. You’d never know you were anywhere near a city!

Visiting this property is a very unique experience, some describe it as “glamorous camping”. No photoshoots, parties allowed without prior arrangement. Dogs are allowed for a $18 fee per night, per pet. Cats are not permitted for their own safety and allergy restrictions. Dogs are not permitted to be left unattended during your stay. If it causes a disturbance, a $25 fine will be implemented.

DISCLAIMER: NO CANDLES, SAGE, INCENSE, or other BURN MATERIALS, we are in a FIRE ZONE. NO PARTIES OR LOUD MUSIC, Quiet time after 9pm. This is quite different from staying in an ordinary hotel. We are really in NATURE here - these are older cottages hand-built by artists in the forest. They are very rustic! It's like living in a mountain village, with other cottages nearby. While we work very hard to keep our places pristine and spotless - if anyone in your party will faint if they see a bug or lizard or little frog inside - then this probably isn't the place for you. Please be very careful booking cottages for someone else - like your parents just arriving from another continent - they might prefer something more conventional.

Some folks describe our places as a luxurious form of camping. We make our cottages very comfortable - they have all the basics - electricity - WIFI - most have kitchens, bath or shower and comfy clean beds. But they are not like a hotel with perfect walls and a sterile atmosphere. Please look at all the pictures and read all the reviews. We can't offer refunds just because we don't meet the standards of a normal hotel. Most people are charmed by this idyllic and bohemian lifestyle - but it's not for everyone.

FILM AND PHOTOS SHOOTS: This is an amazing property for photography, and film, with 13 acres of rustic cottages, oak forests and sculpted streams. But please note we have special, and quite reasonable rates for filming, in addition to the normal rental charges. Please let us know ahead of time so we can work out the details. Commercial filming or photography is not permitted without permission.

Guest access
You do NOT need to meet us upon arrival -the cottage will be unlocked with the keys left inside for you. Simply follow the detailed directions to the cottage or room and make yourself at home arriving anytime after 3pm. Staff is available on site if you need anything. Be sure to find your itinerary that is emailed to you when you made the reservation for detailed instructions and directions.

Other things to note
Cell phones may not work here, but we have very strong WIFI - with no password needed. Most find that enabling WIFI calling on their cell phone works perfectly to make and receive calls / texts.
