There is definitely no shortage of fun to be had in this alluring paradise, whether glampers are seeking a nature escape or a freeing immersion on local culture. Topanga is considered by many to be Los Angeles’s bohemian hub and the creative atmosphere has drawn an array of talented artists and musicians to the area for decades. Guests will find a multitude of local business, from taverns to spiritual centers to community galleries. It's easy to spend an afternoon in one of the many cozy cafes or delicious restaurants. The Inn of the Seventh Ray, a creekside restaurant that opened in 1973, is decked out with romantic twinkling lights and continues to draw celebrity guests like Leonardo DiCaprio, Channing Tatum, and Fergie as regulars. Topanga has a long and rich history of music, and glampers will still find plenty of spots offering live music and entertainment. Theater lovers should be sure to stop by Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum, an outdoor theater surrounded by oak trees. The theater offers theatrical performances with an emphasis on the classics, particularly Shakespeare.
Nature lovers can spend the day exploring caves and searching for fossils and arrowheads left by the Chumash Indians on Red Rock Canyon Trail. Calabasas Peak offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Topanga State Park offers numerous trails leading to meadows, groves, and even the Santa Ynez Falls. There are plenty of other parks in the area as well, including Tuna Canyon Park and Summit Valley. For a slightly more unusual view of the area's natural wonders, glampers can explore on horseback.
