This idyllic log cabin retreat is situated in the heart of Yosemite National Park in Wawona, California, close to Chilnualna Falls. Accommodating up to six guests, there are two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a comfy king-size bed, while the second bedroom has a queen-size bed, one twin bed, and a television. In each of the bathrooms, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided.

The cabin’s main room is great for entertaining, boasting an open floor plan with a living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining space. The living room features two plush sofas, a leather recliner, a flat screen television, and a cozy stone-faced, wood burning fireplace. Adjacent, there is a dining table seating six and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, lovely wooden cabinets, stainless steel appliances, an island with a breakfast bar, and all of the essentials for making a wonderful homemade meal, including a stove, an oven, a microwave, and a refrigerator.

Outside, a private, partially covered wraparound deck boasts a built-in gas barbecue, a beautiful custom-built picnic table, and lounge chairs overlooking the stunning Yosemite National Park’s cedars and pine trees. Glampers are sure to feel right at home during their stay here in Wawona, California.

Glampers will have access to entertainment facilities including satellite television, a DVD player, a VHS player, an iPod docking station, Wi-Fi, and a library of movies, books, board games, and puzzles. For guests’ comfort, there is central air conditioning and heating, as well as a lovely wood burning fireplace. The telephone also allows guests to make free domestic and international calls with some limitations. If guests want to stay a bit closer to town, they can take a carriage ride at the Big Trees Stables, go for a scavenger hunt to visit all of Wawona’s 20+ carved bears, or spend the afternoon practicing their swing at the Big Trees Golf Course. When the weather gets cooler, visitors can try their hand at snowshoeing through the neighboring meadows, ice skating in Yosemite Valley, or skiing at Yosemite Ski and Snowboard Area. For a bit of the local history, visitors will love taking a ride on the historic Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad steam train.
