This rustic log cabin near Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, California, has a stunning interior, with its wood-paneled vaulted roof with exposed ceiling beams and floor-to-ceiling glass windows that flood its rooms with light. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, a chest of drawers, and a television, as well as a 3/4 size private bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed, while the third has a set of twin beds for additional guests.
The kitchen has sanded light wood cabinets and cream colored tile countertops, with a long polished wooden dining table with cushioned picnic benches in the corner. The living room is spacious and luxurious, with two different seating areas furnished with cozy yet modern sofas and armchairs. A large stone fireplace with a brass trimmed wood stove occupies the corner, with a full bookcase and a few plants to brighten up the room. There is another round table with leather chairs near a polished bureau in the corner near the doors leading to the deck, where guests can unwind in the glorious nature of Mariposa in California.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including an oven, a stove top, a refrigerator, a toaster, a blender, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, and cooking utensils. In the living room, there is a wood stove for the winter and a satellite television, as well as a CD player. There is also a washer and dryer in the utility room for doing laundry. Outside on the deck, guests will find a gas BBQ grill with patio furniture and provided wood for the fireplace. The cabin also comes with internet access, a large back yard, and some parking spaces.

Guests of the cabin will find plenty to do both on and off the property, as the area's rustic beauty, diverse opportunities, and rich history will appeal to all kinds of visitors during any period of the year. While in the accommodation, guests can cozy up in front of the fire with a good book or enjoy a home cooked meal on the patio with views of peaceful woods. Just up the road, glampers will find the Wawona Golf Course and a number of trail heads, where guests can trek on foot, by mountain bike, or by horse. Many of these trails lead to stunning waterfalls or overlooks, which provide vistas of the valleys and the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance.
In the Tuolumne River, glampers can fish for rainbow and brown trout from April to November, or head to the Merced River to book a rafting trip or take kayaks out on Tenaya Lake. Mariposa and Yosemite Villages offer plenty of art galleries, boutique shops, spas, and a variety of restaurants, as well as heritage tours and cultural centers for more information on the area. The Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias, just 20 minutes from the cabin, is also a highlight, as the forest consists of the tallest trees in the world, the redwoods.
