Cabin Rental with a Spacious Deck Nestled in the Woods of Lakeview, Oregon
Nestled in the woods 1,000 ft. above and 15 miles from Lakeview, Oregon, this lovely 80 year old cabin rental, comes fully furnished with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious deck. One bedroom contains a full-sized bed, and the other is equipped with two twins. A full-sized pull out couch allows for comfortable sleeping for up to four adults total (w/ $25/night extra per additional person). In the living space, a wood fireplace containing a heatilator, as well as oil and electric heaters, we close down Whitetail for Winter first week of November, generally re-opening it at the end of April or first week of May depending on temps here at almost 6,000 ft. Inside the living room, guests will also find a CD player and 60s short wave radio. Guests will also have a fully functional kitchen with a large refrigerator, a four-burner electric stove with an oven, a microwave and a toaster. Perfect for cooking up a storm after a busy day exploring the local area! Guests will find complimentary teas and condiments, as well as a coffee grinder, coffeemaker, and a french press. The full bathroom comes equipped with a toilet, a shower, and a built-in heater. There is also an outhouse as well. This is a quiet, peaceful vacation spot with lots of adventures to discover from here!
This property is designed to ensure guests can enjoy the ultimate luxury vacation. Glampers will find a beautiful Redwood deck with a picnic table and built-in, wooden benches and a Weber charcoal BBQ grill. Guests will also find a large hammock, perfect for reading or taking a nap among the foliage. At night, a fire ring with seats is the perfect place to gather with friends and family after a long day of exploring. Around the back of the cabin, guests will find an outhouse for winter and emergency use, as well as an outdoor pump with pure Mt. artesian well water.

Dogs are very welcome at this property. and cats possibly with OK by the owner./ BUT, owners are responsible for their dogs,cats period. Dogs and cats are never allowed to be left alone in these historic cabins, and must be crated or kept in the car if the owner has to leave briefly. These cabins are not kennels. Guests must agree to pay an extra pet cleaning fee of $25.00 if excessive hair is found. In addition, guests must agree to pay the repair/replacement cost assessed by the property for any damage done by their pet(s).
Cell phone reception requires a short walk depending on your carrier. Verizon and Cellular One have the best reception in this area.
