With a riverfront location like this, it is clear that the main attraction in the area is fishing in the Elk River. Anglers come to this part of Oregon to catch salmon in the late fall and bring their families for safe river fun during summer months.
For glampers that are not into fishing, the river has plenty more surprises, from a few waterfalls along its winding way, to kayaking and canoeing to get the adrenaline pumping. With the North Pacific Ocean shores only a 15-minute drive away, boating, swimming, and surfing are some great alternatives for water sports aficionados.
Families traveling with children can opt for some kid-friendly activities in the area, including a visit to the Animal Park where they can see wild animals or a drive to the marina where they can spot whales or sea lions, depending on the season.
Other great activities in the area include golfing at the Brandon Crossings, 20 miles from the property, hiking, mountain biking, or climbing. Glampers who decide to stay at the property can enjoy the outdoor grill, play games, or watch a movie or two.
