It’s the ideal spot for a getaway, settled right on the Crooked River. There are plenty of gorgeous natural areas to explore, such as Ochoco Wayside State Park and Prineville Reservoir State Park. The city also happens to be right between Willamette National Forest and Ochoco National Forest, although it is definitely closer to the latter.
