This completely rural cottage, an hour south of Eugene, Oregon, sits on an organic farm surrounded by vineyards, mountains, orchards, farm fields, and rivers. This up-scale private house is at the end of a valley of orchards and farms with vegetables, berries, and everything guests can think of to eat. The hosts have a private and secluded 800-foot river beach in a five-minutes walk or a two-minute drive down the farm field. There are kayaks, a dock, and a beautiful private swimming beach on the Main Branch of the salmon-and-steelhead-rich Umpqua River. It is great for all ages--- and there is room to camp, a children's play structure, a cozy wood stove and many internationally-award-winning wineries like Reustles' Prayer Rock, Abacela, and Hillcrest, just minutes away. Less than an hour's drive is the world-famous North Umpqua River, for fly-fishing, hiking, hot springs, and rafting, and guests will also only be one hour from the famous Oregon coast!

Glampers can find a private, 800-foot river beach down the farm field from the cottage, as well as secluded swimming in the wide, sparkling Umpqua River! There, guests can lounge on the small dock, play in the water, or kayak. (There is a small "tree house" deck above the river for hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, as well as a small barbecue.) During the correct seasons, fruits, veggies, and berries are available for picking.
Forty minutes away is the North Umpqua River, where guests can steelhead fish in one of the most famous fly-fishing rivers in the world or raft and hike the many miles of trails to discover hidden waterfalls. Visitors can also enjoy biking in the forest or swimming in the river. Crater Lake is two hours and 30 minutes away, along with the scenic byway of the beautiful North Umpqua. There is a boat landing close-by, and guests can bring their drift boat for salmon, steelhead, and bass!
The famously-rugged Oregon coast is an hour away, ideal for beachcombing, painting, photography, and whale (or storm!) watching. Returning after a day of adventure, guests can relax at one of the internationally-prize-winning wineries at just minutes away, such as Reustle Winery, Hillcrest, Cooper Ridge or Becker, or spend the day painting outdoors or writing the Great American Novel!
