Warrenton

Warrenton is a lovely little Clatsop County city perched on the northwest corner of Oregon, right where the Columbia River feeds into the Pacific Ocean. The whole area surrounding the city is absolutely stunning, with many parks, bays, and beaches to explore. Youngs Bay is just east of Warrenton, separating it from the neighboring city of Astoria. Fort Stevens State Park and Fort Columbia State Park both offer visitors extensive hiking trails with plenty of gorgeous views. Nearby Lewis and Clark National Historical Park houses a museum with walking trails, while Peter Iredale Ship Wreck can be found on the beach at Fort Stevens State Park. Take a quick trip to the state of Washington via the Astoria-Megler Bridge, a vast steel cantilever bridge connecting Astoria with Point Ellice.
