An ideal glamping getaway, this adorable tiny house rental is nestled into a rural location along the Puget Sound in Olympia, Washington, and can accommodate two guests. Inside, there is a sleeping loft with a full-size bed and a skylight for stargazing. To get in and out of the loft bed, guests will have to use a narrow, steep ladder, which requires agility and balance. The private bathroom has an economy-size shower with hot water that comes from a six-gallon tank, in addition to a composting toilet, a mirror, and a hairdryer. Linens, towels, slippers for inside use, natural soaps, and shampoos are all provided.

There is a kitchen with a mini-fridge, a stove, a microwave, a French press, pantry basics (oil, sugar, coffee, tea, and spices), and all necessary tableware and cookware. Guests should note that the ceiling clearance is 6'2" in the kitchen. In addition, there is an expandable table with two chairs, a cozy window seat for reading, a mini gas fireplace, and an electric wall heater.

Other amenities include kayaks for guests to explore the shoreline, a hammock, free Wi-Fi, tiny house books and information, Olympia/Pacific Northwest guidebooks and resources, and an assortment of mini-games. I have blocked off an extra 24 hours between bookings to allow the home to sit & ventilate. There is also an air purifier in the home which is left on between bookings. I use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer to clean high-touch surfaces & supply hand sanitizer for guests. Linens are laundered & then rotated out to allow ample idle-time between use.

If the booking is made more than two months in advance, the minimum night stay is four nights, but if guests are interested in a two or three-night stay can contact the host and get on a waiting list in case availability opens up less than two months prior to check-in. One-night stays are also available within one week of arrival.
