This classic barn built in the 1920s amasses 900 square feet of space and has been renovated and repurposed into the rustic vacation home it is today. The barn is charmingly decorated with original art and sculptures handcrafted by the owners and vintage decor. It has an open floor plan with two bedrooms and one full bathroom, comfortably accommodating up to ten guests. The first bedroom includes a double bed, the second bedroom includes a single trundle bed. The living room includes two pull-out futons for any additional sleeping room, as well as a large library, plenty of seating space, various games, art supplies, and a ping pong table.
The kitchen area is fully-equipped and includes a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, a toaster, and kitchenware. Adjacent is a dining area with seating for up to eight people. The lower level is a studio that is perfect for artists and writers to reinvigorate their creative juices.
Outside, guests will find a patio deck with tables and chair that are perfect for relaxing. The grounds include a micro-farm with organic produce, gardens, and a fruit orchard. Right from their backyard, guests can enjoy picturesque views of the vast Hood Canal, the sprawling Olympic mountainscape that lines the horizon, and the pristine cerulean skies above.
Guests can enjoy a number of amenities at this property to elevate their stay. The property provides direct access to an extensive, well-marked 4,000-acre trail system for hiking and/or mountain biking through a deep forest. There is an on-site micro-farm, organic garden, and orchard. Guests are free to responsibly enjoy the fresh produce from these gardens or even try a taste of the owner's micro-brew and homemade wine, all made from organic ingredients. Parking is also available.
