Eclectic

The unusually named town of Eclectic, Alabama, was named after the eclectic medicine practiced by its founder Dr. M. L. Fielder. This charming small town in Elmore County which allows visitors to experience the authentic Southern charm and hospitality. The town itself is small but offers a variety of eateries, coffee shops, and stores for any glamper's needs. The surrounding nature is exquisite, with the magnificent Lake Martin close by which is ideal for fishing, boating, swimming, and relaxing alongside. The nearby Jordan Lake is also excellent for water sports, as well as the Tallapoosa River. The area is also charming to explore by car or by foot, as it is lush, green, and with beautiful historic architecture.
