Just 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham yet feeling a million miles away, this off-grid and pet-friendly rental is perfect for up to six guests to go glamping in Alabama. Consisting of a Mercedes-Benz 4x4 military vehicle sheltered underneath a smart wooden structure, two guests can sleep on the sofa bed in the 4x4, while another four guests can sleep in the living area and sleeping loft of the structure, providing they bring their own mattresses and bedding. The bathroom has a composting toilet and a shower.

The wooden pavilion is open on all sides, so you are shielded from the sun and rain, yet can enjoy the fresh air and views of the woods that surround the site. Not only are you enjoying the off-grid adventure camping experience, you also have 105 acres of trails at your back door. You will enjoy solitude and the quietness of being on the sparsely populated property. It is advised you bring food and a cooler with you with ice as there is no refrigerator, but there is a stove and basic utensils. A fire pit outside is perfect for evening bonfires.
