This property is located in Marshall, Arkansas and is a short driving distance from the Ozark National Forest. Set on a private operating Buffalo farm, this comfortable accommodation looks privately over the open countryside. The farm has up to 50 bison at one time on the vast open paddocks. This green space is a breath of fresh air from the hustle of the big city with Buffalo National River situated just 15 minutes north of the farm, while the much larger town of Harrison is one and half hours beyond that. The bison farm, though the primary business on the land, is also home to other animals such as emu, peacocks, Asian Water Buffalo and deer. Guests are also welcome to pet the llamas, alpacas, and goats and children are of course welcome. The host can tour guests around the farm upon request. The local river is a fine fishing catchment area, with smallmouth bass swimming in the area. The river is also an ideal spot for visitors with kayaking, hiking, and swimming all popular activities that are available a short drive away.
The Ozark National Forest is a hikers dream with trailhead access to one of the longest trail passes in Arkansas. This huge forest also provides excellent fishing opportunity and family picnic spots.
