The Codex is a secluded cabin on 3.5 acres surrounded by nature & wildlife. This custom-built cabin combines rustic charm with modern convenience, features a knotty pine interior & Beagle-themed decor. Ideal for 4-6 guests with beds for up to 8 guests, it offers endless outdoor adventures like hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Unwind in the tranquil backyard, lush greenery, and breathtaking views, creating unforgettable family memories. The lake is not within view but within 600' of the cabin.

Professionally I'm a chiropractor but I'm also a U.S. Army veteran having served both in an enlisted & officer capacity. My wife and I own many dogs, most of which are rescues.

Although I grew up in the city and in the country, I'm country at heart. My favorite activities include motorcycling, backpacking, hiking, and camping.

My goal as a host is for my guests to have a 5-star + experience by exceeding their expectations.

The Codex is conveniently located within walking distance of Lake Greeson but not too far from Murfreesboro or the Crater of Diamonds State Park. The covered deck provides a great spot to hang out, visit with friends or family or just enjoy soaking up the sounds of the woods.
The Codex cabin is a one-of-a-kind, unique park model cabin built by me, a general contractor friend and a crew. It is Beagle themed and named after our Beagle boy, Codex, whom we bred in 2013 along with his 3 brothers. Past guests have raved about its design and how cute it is. It will comfortably sleep 4 to 6 people but is set up to sleep up to 8. While 8 guests are a tight fit, it allows a larger family or group of friends to stay together at a very affordable rate, especially when compared to the cost of multiple hotel rooms.
The Codex cabin is located on 3.5 forested acres within a short walking distance of Lake Greeson. The property is 2 miles from the Lake Greeson dam, 9 miles from Murfreesboro and 11.7 miles from the Crater of Diamonds State Park.
