This incredible tree house is nestled in the branches of four trees in the woods of Germantown, Bracken County, Kentucky, and can accommodate six guests (two adults and four kids) comfortably. Guests have their own bathhouse with a shower, a toilet, and a sink at the entrance of the property and a compost toilet within a five-second walk outside of the tree house. The unique and magical layout of the tree house consists of a spacious upper-level nook with a full-size bed, and a double loft separated by a bridge with a queen-size and a twin-size bed. Bed linens, towels, and basic toiletries are included.

Downstairs, guests will find a comfortable couch and a lovely kitchenette with plenty of windows for natural lighting. The kitchenette comes equipped with a stove, a coffeemaker, and all of the basic cookware and utensils needed to prepare meals at home. There is a beautifully detailed mosaic tile kitchen dining table with barstool seating.

Outside, guests will find a wraparound deck with a slide that takes guests down to the swings and a private hillside. Included in your stay is private access to 200 acres of themed trails. The heart trail is 3.2 miles and takes you to different areas of the property to explore, like the cabana pod that sits by a stream, an 1800s abandoned log cabin, the three-person net trillium, and a picnic area. Our newest trail is Jacob's Ladders named after the hosts' nephew. Visitors are encourage to bring or make their own chime in memory of a loved one to hang in the trees along the trail. The hobbit trail is fun for the kids and they love finding the 10 hobbit houses. Guests can also sign up for a unique guided tree climb. It is 49 a person for 90 min class. The hosts also provide a map of the property and a scavenger hunt.

Guests are invited to enjoy a stress-free getaway to ignite their imagination in a whimsical wonderland. This tree house has a fantastic wraparound deck with chairs to enjoy the bird’s eye view and a slide leading from the deck down to the ground. There is a swing set with two kids’ swings, a hammock, a fire pit with seating, and private trail access to the “hobbit tree trail” right under the deck. This trail leads to a picnic area with a table and chairs, the perfect place for families to enjoy lunch.

At every twist and turn, adventurers will stumble upon creeks, ponds, old-growth forests full of white and red oaks, hickories, and even a pick-your-own blackberry patch.

The charming town of Augusta is located just 15 minutes away from the property, where guests can find a variety of fantastic local restaurants, cafes, pubs, antique shops, and a ferry that crosses the Ohio River.

Guests have plenty to discover on their private 200-acre property, sprawling with trails for hiking each with its own hidden treasures to reveal. There are three fishing ponds to visit, a three-person hammock on a hidden trail, and 10 hobbit tree houses to find hidden in the trees on Hobbit trail. Kids will love the excitement of discovering something new around every corner, especially the tree pod along the Cabana trail.

The Heart Trail is a guest favorite, with a duration of three miles, leading to the Cabana Village where guests can climb into a large tree pod to take a well-deserved nap or savor the peace and serenity of nature.

The property has several adventures planned for kids’ enjoyment, including an organized scavenger hunt with a map and checklist provided. Another glamper favorite is the guided tree rope climb. Climbing is recommended for kids five years old and up and reservations can be arranged by the property.

Finally, guests with access to a car won’t want to miss a visit to the nearby town of Augusta, just 15 minutes away. Rich in history with an abundance of beautiful views, the river town offers visitors plenty to enjoy. Guests can sample award-winning wines or a Casamigos cocktail, go on a guided nature tour or pack up for a picnic, or stroll through the boutique shops to discover the charm of the small, warm river town. No smoking is permitted at the property.

Guests are expected to leave the tree house in the same condition as it was in, upon arrival. This includes washing dishes and taking out the garbage. The large garbage can, to dispose of trash bags is located next to the bathhouse. This deters critters in-between visits.

Guests will be provided with a tree house manual as a tool to enhance self-awareness in nature for a deeper connection to the outdoors.

Guest should be aware that they are located in the middle of the country in a secluded and quiet area with nature. The nearest gas station is only three miles away where guests can pick up pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, and other supplies.

Guests are advised to have a car to get around as this is a remote location.
