Tucked into a forested area, this rustic and secluded cabin is located less than 10 miles away from downtown Franklin, Tennessee, and sleeps up to 11 people. The cabin is ideal for a group vacation in a secluded location with an abundance of outdoor activities to keep everyone busy during their stay.

There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms in total. In the master bedroom, there is a queen-size bed and two single beds, in addition to a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, a private bathroom, and plenty of space for a single bed to be added, should guests need it. On the ground level, there are two further bedrooms, each of which has a queen-size bed and share a full bathroom. All of the bedrooms are spacious and well furnished.

The kitchen is fully equipped so guests can cook with ease. The smart dining area is a great place to sit together to eat, and the living room is a cozy space with a cozy looking, but non-working, fireplace. Outside, the cabin has the added feature of a wrap-around deck. There are chairs outside so guests can sit out in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee while surveying the incredible views of the forest—or in the evenings, enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set behind the trees.

It is a short walk to an organic farm to see Rosie the donkey and her goat and pig friends, in addition to Big East Fork Retreat (day passes required) with its miles of hiking trails, bicycles to rent, and a six-acre natural lake with canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and paddleboats.

Guests should note that there is a 40% premium charge for one-day stays, so the hosts encourage guests to stay for a while and enjoy!

There is a conference room here as well as space for breakout sessions. For those who are organizing a conference or an event, groups who rent an accommodation here are eligible for discounts. Guests can head to Franklin and enjoy The Carter House State Historic Site and the Lotz House and hear about their role during the Civil War. Visitors can also enjoy all the energy of the vibrant city of Nashville, where country singers head waiting for their big break to come, and where those that have made it have their recording studios. Guests can catch a live show at one of the many venues in the city, or swot up on their music history with a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

However, with all of the beautiful countryside surrounding the rental, guests may want to make the most of numerous onsite activities. There are various horse riding trails and tours that are on offer, as well as an abundance of hiking trails within the 2300 acres, through the stunning woods and around the lake. Guests can head out on the water in a canoe and enjoy some fishing. For families, there is an organic farm with animals that can be fed and petted, such as Rosie, the resident donkey. Once a week on a Thursday evening, the hosts organize a free movie night for guests that sometimes include a potluck dinner. With so much on offer here, it would hardly be surprising for guests to enjoy the entirety of their vacation here.
