This stone cottage rental in Alpine, Texas, is spacious, cozy, and has a maximum occupancy of 10 guests. There are four bedrooms altogether which include double beds, single beds, and linens are provided by the host. There are two large bathrooms within this cottage vacation rental that include a bathtub, toilet, and a shower. The cottage also has a library, dining room with seating for eight people, living room, and two beautiful screened in porches.The cottage sits on an acre of land and one porch faces a huge lawn. Cathedral Mountain adds to the majesty of the fauna and flora.

Nestled in the rolling hills far from any street lights the night sky is great for all star observers. The water that supplies the cottage comes from an underground spring and is drinkable plus it makes all coffee and teas great tasting. For entertainment, there are two televisions and lots of books available for guests to use. The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffeemaker, dishes, utensils, dishwasher, oven, pantry items, toaster, gas stove, and a refrigerator.

The glamping property sits north of Cathedral Mountain providing guests with the most amazing mountain views right from their garden or windows. Both glamping accommodations offer a garden for glampers to play lawn games, and there is also seating outside to relax and enjoy the views with a morning coffee or stargaze in the evenings. There is Internet throughout the glamping accommodations, and parking is available. Guests are not required to bring their own linens, as these are provided by the host.

Big Bend National Park is approximately one hour and 15 minutes driving from the glamping property for guests to take advantage of. There are over 100 miles of paved roads and 160 miles of backcountry dirt roads providing challenges for riders of all types and abilities. Fishing the Rio Grande is something that is fun for visitors of all ages, guests can also go horseback riding, bird watching, and hiking. There are also paved roads and improved dirt roads for scenic drives through the park, or simply take a picnic and blanket and relax.

Alpine is approximately 30 minutes from the glamping property where there are lots of cool places to check out. Museum of the Big Bend, Hallie's Hall of Fame Museum, Rock Hunting in the Big Bend of Texas with Teri Smith, and Mariscal Mine are just a portion of attractions to check out. Guests can also go dining, shopping, or watch a performance at the theater while visiting Alpine.
