These two suite rentals are perfect for a glamping getaway near San Antonio in Texas. Each suite sleeps a maximum of four guests, meaning the two are perfect for groups of eight when rented together. They can be offered as interconnecting rentals or totally separate if preferred. Both suites are beautifully furnished and offer a Jacuzzi, a queen-size bed, and a trundle bed. Guests can enjoy access to a kitchen facility for an extra $20 per night if desired.

There is no minimum stay during the week but at weekends there is a minimum stay of two nights.

Situated on a live working ranch, in the countryside on a National Wildlife Preserve with convenient access to Boerne, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, and Austin, this property boasts many activities for guests, both in natural and urban settings.

On-property activities include tranquil to extreme from sitting on the deck and enjoying nature and enjoying all the animals that wander the property (all safe, of course), including herds of White Tail & Axis deer, African Boer goats (and adorable baby goats), miniature donkeys, miniature horses and ponies and chickens as well as a "surprise package" of wild rabbits, squirrels and many beautiful birds. It is a virtual "Alice In Wonderland" setting. The hosts even offer "critter feeding" activities (critter is Texan for little animal), where guests can get up close to an array of animals, with host guidance and supervision, of course. A lovely semi-private river is just five minutes to the left from of the cabin and a very nice lake is only nine minutes to the right of the cabin.

Horseback riding for all skill levels is available with top-notch purebred horses that are very docile and loving yet exhilarating for riders that have experience. The hosts can teach and/or guide guests through lovely rides through the woods, as well as pony rides. The hosts have even had "horseback picnics and "horseback weddings"—great photo ops!

"Survival training" (like the TV show) is offered by Mickey, a retired Special Forces commander. Guests who love to cook?Book a class with our world-famous chef to learn to make delicious dishes. Wine tasting? Schedule a tour of the surrounding wine country vineyards. Beer anyone? Visit the brewery right down the street.

Indoor activities: All cabins have state of the art High Definition Smart flat screen TVs, DVD players, and free Netflix- kick back with some homemade popcorn and watch a recent release movie or an oldie? If glampers prefer books, the hosts have a lovely library with a wide variety, including the classics and some fine first editions. Board games of all kinds are available for check out.

Badminton, bocce ball (yes, like in Paris), horseshoes, etc. are also available. At night, what can be more fun than a campfire? The property has fire pits and the know-how, in case guests would like any assistance. Weenie roast, marshmallow roasts, s'mores... Guests' imagination is the limit. Karaoke? The hosts also have one for checkout and can even DJ a private party—just let the hosts know any ideas and they can probably accommodate them.

Nearby lakes, rivers, and streams allow for water activities like kayaking, canoeing, swimming, fishing, and boating. Visitors and locals alike enjoy frequenting nearby parks for hiking, mountain biking, picnicking, and birdwatching. Caverns are also popular tourist attractions and are located within a short driving distance of Boerne.

If guests wish to venture off and explore nearby cities, Boerne (5 minutes away) has plenty to keep glampers busy for days including some very good eating and- it is a vacation destination in itself, plus San Antonio (20 minutes) and Austin have many interesting restaurants, educational museums, and historical monuments and landmarks like the Alamo. Austin is known for its eclectic music scene, so every weekend there is much to her and there are frequently concerts and music festivals.
