From exploring the property’s eight acres of land to floating down Guadalupe River, getting in touch with the great outdoors is a must when staying at this rural glamping site. Glampers can head to Hill Country State Natural Area where they can hike and bike the miles and miles of trails as they admire the local flora and fauna before sitting down for a lovely picnic lunch. Water sports lovers can head to Medina River where they will be able to spend the day tubing and swimming or venture to Canyon Lake to go boating, swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Keen fishermen can venture to Medina Lake in the early morning to try to reel in Largemouth bass, Flathead catfish, and White bass, while hunters can head to Uno Mas Ranch, one of Texas’ premiere game ranches.

Since nearby Bandera is known as the “Cowboy Capital,” going to a rodeo and exploring Frontier Times Museum, with numerous historical artifacts, is a must. After, glampers can head to one of the local venues to enjoy some live country music or tour nearby wineries, including Scimitar Hill Vineyards. For those who want to venture a bit further away, San Antonio, home to the Alamo, is only about an hour away. Glampers can stroll along the Riverwalk or get a drink at Menger Bar, which is where Teddy Roosevelt founded the Rough Riders.
