There's plenty to do and see in and around these Texas Hill Country rentals. The Pedernales Falls State Park is just up the road, offering opportunities for hiking along scenic trails and swimming in the rivers, and watersports on the Colorado River and Travis Lake is a possibility too, being just 30 minutes away. There are a couple of interesting distilleries to visit, Deep Eddy and Treaty Oak, and plenty of dining joints to try out. The most popular is perhaps the Salt Lick BBQ in nearby Driftwood, although there are many more on the famous Mercer Street in Dripping Springs. For those looking to enjoy the attractions of the big city on their Texas vacation, the vibrant city of Austin is just half an hour away. With so much on offer, this really is one of the best vacation spots in Texas!
