Eldorado

Eldorado, Texas was established as a town in 1895. It’s situated in the center of the state in Schleicher County. This desert town can get extremely hot and humid in the summertime, so be sure to find a watering hole where you can cool off. Just north is Twin Buttes Reservoir and OC Fisher Lake. Rent a boat, kayak, tube, or raft and spend the day floating and riding around the water. Go swimming all day, or relax on the beach to catch some sunshine. The San Angelo State Park features 50 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. The Rio Grande flows to the south and glampers can find rafting tours along this famous river. Not far from San Antonio, visitors can easily reach the town. Head to Eldorado, Texas for a remote glamping experience.
