There is plenty to do both on-site and nearby. Guests can spend afternoons fishing in the ponds or playing on the water with a paddleboat, perfect for cooling off in the hot sun. There are numerous trails on the site for hiking with creeks to discover. Near the ranch, the town of Gonzales offers historical sites and cultural activities. Just 45 minutes from the site, the kids will love a trip to Splashaway Water Park for some family fun. Adults can spend the afternoon at the Spoetzel Brewery, just 10 miles from the site. After, everyone can head back and light the campfire to make 'smores and share the stories of their day.
