This glamping site has a great location due to many charming towns and breathtaking sites to see out in nature nearby. The town of Fredericksburg is well known for its wineries and museums and is a little over 30 miles away. Guests should definitely stop at the Pioneer Museum that features settlers' homesteads and artifacts. The National Museum of the Pacific War is not too far from there and includes many WWII exhibits, even a recreated combat zone. The Fredericksburg Winery is a relaxing place to spend the afternoon tasting wines under the sunshine exposed from the parting of the grape leaves. The ranch has it's own music venue/bar Lazy Days Canteen.
Glampers better have their camera ready when they visit the Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, a massive pink granite dome that towers above central Texas. This site has been attracting viewers for hundreds of years, and today glampers can come to partake in over 11 miles of hiking trails, camping, rock climbing, picnicking, bird watching, and stargazing.
If glampers are staying with a large group and looking for something to do, some true crowd-pleasers are Sea World of Texas and Six Flags Fiesta in Texas, both only about an hour away. Or, if guests decide to take a day trip to San Antonio, the Alamo is a great place to visit to learn all about the battle, pick up a few souvenirs, and see the 300-year-old former fortress that has free admissions for families.
The San Antonio River Walk is a must-see, as it is an iconic and eclectic area made up of many landscaped and colorful walkways and bridges all alongside the San Antonio River. These walkways boast many great restaurants, bars, and shops. With plenty of brightly colored umbrellas, ornate street lamps, and Christmas lights during the holidays, this area will surely create great memories.
