A peaceful getaway near Medina Lake! Our 5 bedroom, 3000 sf+ ranch house is only a 7 min drive to 2 boat launches on Medina Lake w/room to park a boat trailer! Enjoy 4+ acres of rugged terrain to hike or explore on foot during the day & in evening enjoy a campfire or the view of the bright stars from the dark night sky! Enjoy dinner from our patio overlooking Medina Lake Dam. Our Ranch house has everything you will need except groceries! A fully stocked kitchen, just bring your groceries!

The space
Our Ranch house is located behind an electric gate for your privacy and safety and features 5 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 2 living areas. Plenty of room for the entire family or share it with another family! Plenty of parking and yard to play in!

You will enter the Ranch house via a code on the side door lock into the game room. The game room has a smart TV, sofa and 2 chairs. This TV has a Xbox 360, so bring your games! We also have a shuffleboard and 14 in 1 game table along with board games and books to entertain everyone!
The game room also leads to 2 bedrooms (1 king and 1 queen) and a full bathroom.

Down the hallway you will pass by a full laundry room (please bring your own supplies) and into the open concept kitchen/dining/living area.

The kitchen is an open layout and is open to the family room. We have 6 high bar stools and a table that seats 4+ chairs. Our kitchen is stocked with an electric oven/stove, side by side fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, pots and pans, dishes etc. We have a full size coffee maker and a Keurig machine, please bring your favorite coffee supplies. In the closet you will find an Instapot, blender, mixer, and a tea kettle. Our kitchen sink features a reverse osmosis system for drinking water! The kitchen also has a dishwasher and dish soap. Just bring your food!

The main family room features 2 couches, recliner and a sofa chair along with an oversized flat screen smart TV with dvd player and Dish Network. The living area opens up to 2 bedrooms (1 queen each), the master bedroom/bath and a full size bathroom (tub/shower combo).

Our master suite features a king cedar bed, dedicated workspace desk, double cedar rocker, smart tv, and a full closet to store your belongings. Our newly remodeled master bathroom features an oversized walk in shower, soaker tub and a double vanity.

Our house is stocked with all linens, towels, shampoo/conditioner and body wash.

Our covered back patio faces Medina Lake and gives a wonderful view of the lake and dam! We have a charcoal BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal). The back patio has a 6 person outdoor table, 4 person outdoor table, fire pit with 4 Adirondack style chairs, and miscellaneous other chairs.

We do not have lake access but we are only a short 7 minute drive to Sunset Resort, which for an additional $25/person (limited to registered guests on your reservation) you can enjoy all of the amenities of the resort during the length of your stay. They include a sports court (pickleball, basketball, volleyball), sand volleyball court, boat launch, fishing and swimming (all subject to closure due to lake levels). Looking to rent kayaks or learn to Water Ski or Wake Board? Wallys Watersports is a great place to rent them or take a lesson and operates out of Sunset Resort. Book early as Wallys' books up. Don't have a boat? You can still enjoy a day on the waters of the Medina River at either Paradise Canyon or Riverside park located about 10 mins from Sunset Ranch.

Pet Policy: while we do love furry animals, we just finished a complete remodel and ask for your help in keeping it new. We do not allow animals of any type at the Ranch house. If your interested in bringing your pet, please inquire about our other 2 smaller houses. Violation of this will result in loss of deposit.

Other things to note:
Our well maintained, hilly, rock driveway is located off of a paved county road.
We are a true hill country ranch, therefor you might encounter native wildlife or critters. Please view all animals from afar and do not approach. We do have a regularly scheduled pest control program in place for our guest satisfaction. When outside, please keep an eye out for native snakes.
