The Hitchin' Post cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests and features charming rustic furnishings that capture the spirit of the west. This cabin is located on a 50 acre high fenced wildlife ranch called Cowboys and Angels Texas Hill Country Venue, Cabins and RV Getaway in the heart of the Texas Hill Country 22 minutes from Kerrville.

This lovely space includes western details, like a practical ranch hand galvanized sink that adds both style and function. Set in a peaceful environment, it is a side-by-side building that shares its cozy appeal with the welcoming Gunslinger Cabin, offering a great getaway experience for individuals or groups of friends and family. Youll enjoy the warm atmosphere, the courtyard area and the beautiful scenic nature path this cabin backs up to. Dark skies, Bortle 3, allow for stargazing and easy viewing of the Milky Way. Enjoy spectacular hill country sunsets as you relax and watch the free roaming wildlife on the property.

Sleeps four guests comfortably.
Two full sized beds, both in the same room, one on each wall.
Private bath with custom shower (toiletries included, soap, shampoo, hairdryer).
Fully stocked kitchenette with microwave, toaster or toaster oven, hot plate, mini fridge, pans, dishes, utensils and coffee pot (coffee, creamer and sugar included).
All linens and towels included.
AC and heat.
PET FRIENDLY CABIN FOR STAYS LESS THAN 7 DAYS. A $50 DOLLAR PET FEE IS REQUIRED. ONE PET UNDER 40LBS IS ALLOWED.

Located just outside of Kerrville, we are just minutes from restaurants, breweries, wineries, and river access. Hill Country area activities in Fredericksburg, Bandera, Medina and Boerne are nearby.

We are located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country just 22 minutes from the nearest town Kerrville, Texas and 35 minutes from Fredericksburg, Texas. The property is heavily wooded with live oak trees and we are at the top of a rolling hill with beautiful hill country and sunset views.

We adhere to dark sky preservation practices on the property and are in a Bortle 3 area for dark skies allowing ample stargazing and viewing of the Milky Way with the unaided eye.

We are a 50 acre high fenced wildlife ranch and are surrounded by several other ranches in a rural Texas hill country setting.

The Texas Wildlife Park and Education Center in Mountain Home is just 10 minutes from our ranch and is a wonderful zoo that provides education and interactive experiences with rare, exotic wildlife.

Texas Hill Country activities including breweries, wineries, shopping, access to the Guadalupe River, restaurants and live music are 22 to 40 minutes from our ranch. Lost Maples State National Area and Enchanted Rock are easy day trips. The Twisted Sisters and the Willow City Loop are famous motorcycle rides that are nearby.
