Family Friendly Safari Tent | Texas Outdoor Family Vacations

The luxury safari tents are set up in the heart of a working commercial apiary and farm. For more than a century, honey has been running through 5 generations of the hosts' family veins. What began as a hobby for the hosts' great-grandparents after acquiring ten bee colonies as a wedding gift in 1888, has now become a passion and livelihood for four generations that followed.

Glampers will have the experience of a lifetime at this sweet honey bee farm, which provides the best weekend family getaways near Houston. The property has many accommodations onsite, allowing guests to explore the farm for a fun family holiday with pets. Or exciting weekend trips with kids to learn about bees, beekeeping, mead, and honey, enjoy the annual festivals and meet other glampers from all walks of life.

The safari tent offers two twin beds and can accommodate two glampers comfortably. The farm has Wi-Fi and heated and air-conditioned shared spaces. Guests are provided with linens, towels, and bathroom products for a luxurious stay.

The farm also offers various shared spaces where the bathrooms and showers (both indoor and outdoor) are located. Glampers will also have access to a shared picnic table, fire pit, grill, community garden, screened-in porches, a rustic outdoor kitchen sink and coffee station, store and store porch, bee observation deck, and the mead tasting room, and FlyBy n Sip Porch. You won't get better vacation spots in Texas for families, than this one!
