Just a short ride into Corpus Christi to visit the USS Lexington, Texas State Aquarium or Schlitterbahn Waterpark that is coming soon. The island has great restaurants, shopping, deep sea or bay fishing, miles of fantastic beaches and Newport Dunes Golf Course. The closest main city to this glamping site is San Antonio, which is just over two hours away but makes for a great day trip to explore more of Texas.
