This spacious, family-friendly getaway has a private balcony beautiful on the third floor of a sprawling 500-acre ranch facing the seven-mile shoreline of Lake Tawakoni in Hunt County, Texas. This charming room is part of the main lodge and accommodates four guests. It has two bunk beds with full-size beds on the top and bottom bunks. The custom wooden bed frames create a rustic feel and the fresh, cozy linens ensure a comfortable stay.
This room has a full bathroom and a private balcony that looks out onto the lake waterfront. Other amenities include an iron and ironing board, thermostat, and Wi-Fi.
Outside, there is a front deck on the side of the lodge with seating, a covered patio with a barbeque grill, and a grand outdoor covered patio in the front with plenty of outdoor seating to gather around the firepit in the evening. Firewood is provided. The 550-acre ranch rests on a peninsula with seven miles of shoreline. Guests can enjoy activities in the spacious backyard and keep an eye out for wildlife, including native whitetail deer, Texas Longhorn cattle, and blackbuck antelope. Zebra, ostrich, and emu may also be spotted at the ranch.
There are a total of seven rooms and one apartment hosting beautiful accommodations with waterfront views from the ranch. The spacious outdoor area offers glampers an enormous backyard to play games, a covered patio with a barbeque grill, and an outdoor fire pit with all the firewood needed to spend an evening making s’mores and stargazing in the clear night skies. The hosts give guests as much privacy as desired and are willing to assist with anything requests or activity planning. There is an event center that is perfect for weddings and parties. The 5,000 square-foot event center has a full kitchen, lighted backyard, and outdoor ceremony area with a stunning lake view backdrop.
