About this place
These Texas glamping cabins are located in Kingsbury, TX near the San Marcos River. Each cabin has two queen beds and can sleep four guests. There are five unit bathroom trailers nearby for guests to use, which totals to 15 full bathrooms, including a hot shower, a sink, and a toilet. Linens and towels are kindly provided.
Each glamping tent has a kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate with pots and pans, and blender. Silverware is not provided so guests should bring those along. For entertainment, guests will find a smart TV and DVD player inside the accommodation. Each unit has air conditioning and heating, however, guests should note there is no Wi-Fi.
Outside, guests will find a small seating area right outside the tent with wicker furniture. On the property guests can use the firepit and BBQ grill. The tented cabins are located on the top of a hill overlooking the river which is a short walk down. Guests are welcome to use the umbrellas and hammocks on the riverbank as well as the volleyball courts located around the property for the best Texas getaway!

While at Blue River Camp, tube and kayak rentals are available at an additional cost and shuttles run approx. every 30 minutes everyday in the summer, on most weekends in the fall and spring and upon reservation in the winter. Shuttles run from Son's Blue River Camp up to Son's River Ranch which is two miles up river where guests can then float down to and get out at Son's Blue River Camp.

Day time cabana rentals and riverside picnic tables rentals must be added and are not included with a Cabin or Luxury Glamping Cabin rental. If you don't already have a daytime reservation, one can be added by going to BlueRiverCamp.com
Glamping Cabin guests are welcome to use the chairs by the rivers edge and the volleyball court as well as the many fire pits, and hammocks scattered throughout the property.

There are many Texas activities to partake in while staying at this luxury camping property. The most popular activity is floating the San Marcos River or guests will also be in proximity to the larger Guadalupe River for a longer floating ride. San Antonio is just a 45 minute drive away if guests want to explore the city or check out the famous Alamo.
