This one-of-a-kind Hobbit Treehouse- with its own Waterfall!- Is perfect for Glamping in Texas. Located on a 350-acre ranch and the Brazos River running through it, getaways here offer guests a truly unique stay in Texas and the Hobbit Tree House is the most amazing space in north Texas. Glamping here means guests will be settled deep in a forest on a working cattle ranch on the banks of the Brazos River.
The stunning two-bedroom (plus two kids' bunks) Treehouse has a full kitchen and full bathroom. It sits on a magnificent deck on the edge of a waterfall 15 feet off the ground giving guests some amazing views of the forest and idyllic surroundings. Guests will have access to a hot tub, a fire pit, rocking chairs, and a grill. While enjoying their stay, guests can also hike or drive to the river, where kayaks and tubes are free for use!
Glampers can even meet Dennis the donkey, Dolly Llama, and their animal friends, visit the hen house and pick your own farm fresh eggs visit the Painted Rock Station where the kids paint river rocks and hide them, and visit our Petrified Wood Laboratory, complete with magnifying glasses, and learn what it was like here millions of years ago while enjoying a vacation in Texas. Axe throwing at the barn!

Guests will have plenty to do during their unique Texas glamping retreat surrounded by nature. Visit and feed the animals at "The Barnyard" petting zoo. Pick your own fresh eggs at the Hen House! There are great hiking trails, three ponds, and a river for fishing. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided for guests to make the most of their tranquil atmosphere. The hosts can also set up a private cabana on the river (a small fee will apply). *New* Visit the Painted rock station and let your creativity flow! Also, Visit the Petrified Wood Lab! Try your hand at roping-- we will teach you!
