This homely cabin rental is located near Gainesville, Florida, and can sleep up to six people, perfect for a family vacation. It has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a sofa bed to sleep two more. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet. Towels and linens are kindly provided.

The large open plan kitchen-dining area is complete with a full-size refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a microwave, a coffee pot, and all essential kitchenware items so guests can cook up a hearty meal. Guests can dine at the large dining table or enjoy a barbecue on the outdoor grill. The snug living area provides a comfy sofa for relaxing, as well as a love seat and reclining chair. Guests can have a quiet night sitting in front of the wood-burning stove and the 42-inch flat-screen TV. The cabin is conveniently fitted with a washing machine and dryer for guests to use.

Outside, there is plenty of grassy garden space for guests to enjoy lawn games or some football. Plenty of trails provide guests with hours of hiking and biking opportunities, and lakes and streams filled with fish mean guests can while away their vacation enjoying some of the best fishing of their lives. The town of Gainesville is just a 20-minute drive away, and further afield guests can enjoy the Ocala National Forest.

This property is fitted with air conditioning and a hot water heater. Outdoors, guests will find a fire pit and a built-in barbecue pit to enjoy some delicious food al fresco or toast some marshmallows. The property comes with a 560 square foot dog pen outside to house a furry friend. Linens and towels will be provided, as well as an iron and ironing board.

Guests will be in an ideal spot for some outdoor adventures with the Ocala National Forest and the Ocklawaha River right on their doorstep, with excellent hiking, cycling, fishing, wildlife viewing, horseback riding, canoeing and boating opportunities. Alternatively, guests can simply share a lovely picnic in the park or go for a scenic drive. Guests can enjoy similar activities at the Orange Springs Restoration Area, and Lake George Forest and Wildlife Conservation Area, which is located just under 60 miles from the property.

The nearby town of Gainesville is home to the Butterfly Rainforest, as well as museums, state parks, botanical gardens and several bars and restaurants. If guests fancy a beach day, the St Augustine beach, Crescent beach and Palm Coast are excellent choices for some fun in the sun. Just down the road lies the Historic Civil War Orange Springs Community Church and Cemetery and local shops and restaurants are all within a short drive from the property.
