Peniscola

Peniscola is set right on the edge of the Perdido Bay that borders Florida and Alabama, a tranquil and thoroughly Southern location for anybody looking for a relaxing vacation in a charming part of the country. This region is filled with wildlife, which makes it especially ideal for animal lovers. The Historic Pensacola Village is a museum complex containing original 19th-century buildings, and well worth a visit. The downtown area is utterly charming as well, with a variety of art galleries, restaurants, cafes, and cultural venues. This town has been ruled by the British, the Spanish, the French, the Confederacy, and the United States, so there is plenty of history in the streets waiting to be discovered. And of course, the beaches are fantastic - with their white sands and emerald waters.
