The island is only accessible by boat. Take a quick water taxi ride to paradise or bring your own boat to the included dock slip! Leave your car and your cares on the mainland!

Please note that it is a barrier island accessible only by boat; we provide water taxi information when you book. You cannot drive your vehicle to the island; you park at the marina on the mainland, where you catch the water taxi. There are no stores, bars, or restaurants, which means it has retained much of its "old Florida" ambiance and pristine beauty. For years, it was visited only by locals who would come on weekends to fish, go to the beach, and enjoy the privacy, peace, and quiet. Now, even though it has been discovered, the lack of commercial establishments means that the island appeals to those who want to get away from crowds, tourists, traffic, and technology.

This large family-friendly beachfront home is under new ownership. Three bedrooms and two baths offer plenty of room to spread out with friends and family. The home has been lovingly maintained by the original owners for many years, and now the new owner is sharing this very special home with island guests who are looking for the perfect beach vacation spot.

It will offer wireless internet service and satellite TV. The kitchen is well equipped for everything from a holiday feast to the most casual beach meal. The home’s crisp blue and white color scheme echoes the colors of the blue sky and waves right outside the front door. The home is stocked with everything you need for a carefree beach vacation. A spacious open-concept living-dining-kitchen area offers a perfect opportunity for family gatherings. The screened porch provides fabulous views of the private beach and offers alfresco dining while enjoying the sound of the waves. A private boardwalk takes you from the home to the beach in seconds.

There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with two twins. That bedroom has a tiny adjacent room with two additional twins…. It is small but would work for children. The other is the master with soaring high ceilings, bright clerestory windows, a king bed, a private balcony overlooking the Gulf, and an en-suite bathroom.

The home offers stunning beach views from the living area, the front deck, and the private upstairs deck off the master bedroom. This is a spectacular beachfront home and a rare opportunity to enjoy one of the island’s loveliest homes.

Holiday surcharges: applied for reservations for Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Labor Day, and Christmas/New Year's timeframes. PLEASE NOTE THAT MINIMUM NIGHTLY STAYS MAY BE INCREASED FOR THESE DATES AS WELL.

It is only accessible by boat. There are no stores or restaurants on the island. Enjoy the island's lovely nature and uncrowded beaches.

You must park your car at the mainland marina ($6 per day). There is a water taxi available for $10 per person during daytime hours. Your rental also includes a complimentary dock slip if you would like to bring a boat. There are many local boat rental options. Their contact info is included in our FAQ upon booking.

Our island paradise is a barrier island with only golf cart paths. During periods of heavy rain or tropical storms, there may be standing water on the roadways, at the dock, and around the house, making golf cart travel difficult or impossible. This is a tropical environment with mosquitoes, rust, power outages, and other minor inconveniences. If you are expecting resort amenities and services, the island might not be for you.

Pets permitted with advanced approval and a $100 pet fee (per pet). The following breeds are NOT permitted: Akita, American Bulldog, Beaucerons, Caucasian Mountain Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Great Danes, Keeshounds, Pit Bull, Staffordshire Terriers, Presa Canarios, or Rottweilers.

Guests are not allowed to exceed stated occupancy limits of the home, and ALL GUESTS (including children under 2) must be included in the total count of guests. Each booking guest agrees to provide a list of all occupants and other contact info, and agrees not to exceed the number of occupants listed on the booking request submitted.

Prior to departure, you are required to wash your dishes and launder any beach towels you have used. Laundry facilities are provided. No smoking anywhere inside the house.

No parties allowed; only the people in the reservation may be at the house without prior permission.

You will be required to sign our rental contract listing these terms.

At least two members of your group must be age 25 or older.
