St. Augustine is absolutely teeming with both natural and historical sights and activities, and the cottage's location puts guests just minutes from everything the city has to offer. St. George Street, the city's historical center, is two short blocks away and is full of fantastic restaurants (many of which allow pets), a variety of historical museums, and original Spanish Colonial architecture. The St. Augustine Distillery and the San Sebastian Winery are both two blocks away and definitely worth a visit. Guests can spend a day in the sun at either St. Augustine or Crescent Beach, or take a boat trip down the Matanzas River. Those looking for a trip through history can head down St. George Street to both the St. Augustine Basilica and the Castillo de San Marcos. Drive a few minutes out of the city center, and guests will find opportunities to fish in the bay, go golfing or horseback riding, or take a scenic drive along the coast.
