Secluded Cabin with Open Pasture and Mountain Views in Clayton, Georgia
The cabin has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The bedroom on the main floor has a four-poster queen-size bed and is accessed through a sliding barn-style door. The second sleeping area is located in the loft and has a queen-size bed and a TV. Securing the loft is a wooden spindle railing offering a view to the floor below. The bathroom has a shower, a sink, and a toilet.
The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. A gas fireplace offers cozy warmth on colder days.
The kitchen comes equipped with a stainless steel refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave. Morning coffee or tea are made easy with the coffee maker and stove-top kettle. A small, center island doubles as seating for four and would make the perfect meeting place for a pre-dinner drink and an aperitif. Once dinner is ready, glampers can make their way to the round wooden dining table to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and perhaps linger over a glass of wine or two.
The outside of the cabin is as equally inviting as the inside, beginning at the entrance to the rare and exclusive covered bridge. Once passing under the bridge, a long driveway, bordered by a stone wall, leads the way to this amazing retreat. A large covered porch, complete with an endearing swing for two and two over-size wooden rocking chairs, welcomes glampers at the door. A beautiful live edge table is just one of many rustic decor pieces used to enhance this outdoor space. A relaxing afternoon on the porch can be followed by a peaceful evening campfire under the stars. Those fortunate enough to spend time here will wish they never had to leave. This cabin could quite easily become one's "happy place."
