This property is located an hour and a half north of Atlanta, Georgia, and just a few miles from the Appalachian Trail. The closest trail crossing is Woody Gap and hiking in either direction will reward guests with fantastic views. There are also lots of waterfall trails in the area. If road cycling is on the agenda, guests can access the Six Gap Century cycling route right from the driveway. Guests will be close to charming wineries too! Seven wineries are all within 10 miles of the property.

This location is also close to the town of Dahlonega where guests can learn about the gold rush, eat at some of the delicious restaurants, and likely find some live music.

Amicalola Falls State Park, which is ~40 minutes away, is a popular place to start the AT. The park is very scenic, with beautiful landscapes and a stunning waterfall. Cyclists visit the area for the famed Six Gap Century—a challenging route up and down six of north Georgia's steepest mountains.
