Hiking, cycling, & kayaking are popular outdoor activities that attract guests to the area. Near the start of the Appalachian Trail, this property is a great spot for thru-hikes, section and day hikes. We offer shuttles to/from many of the trailheads, for an additional charge.
Amicalola Falls State Park, which is ~40 minutes away, is a popular place to start the AT. The park is very scenic, with beautiful landscapes and a stunning waterfall. Cyclists visit the area for the famed Six Gap Century—a challenging route up and down six of north Georgia's steepest mountains.
