This pet-friendly vacation rental is set on a ranch and sleeps up to four guests while it's only a 30-minute drive from the city of Atlanta. Based in Douglas County, guests will feel as though they have got away from it all in a secluded location surrounded by rural views and grassy pastures of the ranch. The bedroom has two double beds and nightstands for each bed. There is a spacious bathroom with a shower, and there is a cozy living area with a sofa and an armchair. Guests can enjoy a movie night in front of the television provided.

There is Wi-Fi available so guests can remain connected during their stay. Kitchen equipment has been provided by the hosts, including a small refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, and microwave. Guests also have access to a barbecue pit to enjoy a grilled steak, and they can also have an evening under the stars with the shared fire pit. There are facilities available for guests who wish to bring their horse along for the vacation and to make the most of the horse riding trails in the area.

The paddock for horses is about a quarter of an acre in size and has a secure fence. There is space for about six horses. There are also a number of stalls available for horses. Guests should inquire with the hosts at the time of booking regarding cost and availability.

There is both an outdoor barbecue pit and an outdoor fire pit for guests to enjoy. For those traveling in an RV or with a horse trailer, there is a hook-up for them on site.

The hosts welcome horses, donkeys, and mules as well as their human companions. There are extra fees for guests' equine friends, so they should inquire with the hosts at the time of booking about the additional costs.

All horses, donkeys, and mules must have current Coggins and a current EVH-1 vaccine within the last six months.

Other pets are permitted, but again, this incurs an extra fee. Guests must also pay a deposit that will be returned upon check-out and an inspection by the hosts. The hosts also ask that pets are crated at night due to previous four-legged companions causing damage during their stays.

The ranch is the perfect vacation destination for anyone with equine interests. There are numerous trails available for horse riders to explore and to enjoy their vacation with their favorite companion. Further afield, guests can head out to Streetwater Creek State Park. Here, guests can enjoy the peaceful trails around the lake. Anyone who enjoys fishing can indulge in their pastime at one of the two fishing areas, and there is a seasonal bait shop as well. There is also a boat launch for a trip out on the lake. The park is also home to the New Manchester Mill Ruins, which were destroyed during the Civil War. Here, guests can indulge in some local history while exploring this peaceful area.

For a cultural afternoon, guests can head into Douglasville and explore the Douglas County Museum of History and Art. The city of Atlanta has lots of attractions, such as the Georgia Aquarium and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site. An hour south of the rental is Senoia, where visitors can take part in an hour-long Big Zombie Walking Dead Tour. Visitors will be shown around the fictional towns of Alexandra and Woodbury that, as The Walking Dead fans will know, have been central to the plot of this immensely popular television show.
