Whitesburg

Whitesburg is a small town with outsize attractions that entice visitors from all over the world. Indeed, it is the home of Historic Banning Mills, which has the world's largest zipline and climbing wall, as certified by Guinness World Records. You can also visit the McIntosh Reserve Park, which is the former home of Creek Indian Chief William McIntosh. And of course, located as it is on the north bank of the Chattahoochee River, it makes an excellent base for anybody interested in kayaking, canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, and much more. Hiking is also popular in this area, with numerous well-marked trails for any level of experience and fitness. The more adventurous can try out ziplining, horseback riding, or geo-caching.
