Accommodation Description

This tree house rental near West Jefferson, North Carolina, is great for couples looking for a unique place to have a romantic getaway. Built with re-purposed wood from an Ashe County homestead that was over 100 years old, this tree house can also be considered eco-friendly. It sleeps two, coming with a cozy queen-size bed, a sitting area, and a private bathroom, as well as a small deck with outdoor seating that overlooks the surrounding pastures and a brook.

The bathroom's shower has walls that are made from galvanized tin that was reclaimed from an old barn (and has a rain shower head) and the roof is also made of tin. The tree house also comes with a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffeemaker (complete with coffee and sweeteners). There is both a ceiling fan and air conditioning for when temperatures start to rise, along with heating for the cooler months.

Perched upon tree poles in the woods, guests will have to walk up a path and then up a flight of stairs to reach the tree house. Parking is not far away. Read More
