This tree house rental near West Jefferson, North Carolina, is great for couples looking for a unique place to have a romantic getaway. This rustic retreat was built entirely with reclaimed lumber from an Ashe County homestead that was over 100 years old! It has a small deck with seating and overlooks a babbling brook and sleeps two, in a plush queen-size bed, a sitting area with a cozy love seat. The tree house comes complete with sheets, pillows, blankets, and bath towels.

Guests can open the windows and enjoy the sounds in the woods with the cool mountain air. They will love sleeping in this rustic cabin with a tin roof. This is a primitive camping cabin, however, there is a gas heater and low-voltage lighting. There is a bathhouse nearby with a flush toilet, a shower, and a sink.

There is a Chiminea fire place and Adirondack chairs set at the base of the stairs for guests to enjoy a fire outdoors. The hosts kindly provide dry firewood. Parking is a short distance away.

Dogs are allowed if prearranged for an additional fee. Guests should contact hosts.

Weekends during July, August and October require a two night minimum stay. Check with us if you are looking to stay just one night on a weekend as we can sometimes accommodate that request. Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day have a three night minimum stay.

These cabins are all surrounded by a historic Healing Spring, which is purported to have curative powers. All glampers can enjoy access to a large main lodge that has Wi-Fi access throughout. In case visitors are in the mood for grilling, the host provides tripod barbecues to use over the wood-burning fire pits.
