This Cabin is conveniently located 1.5 miles from the Lake Lure Ingles grocery, gas station, pharmacy, and Red Box. This is the only major grocery store in the Lake Lure area.
We are located just 16 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and only 6.5 miles from Chimney Rock State Park.
Excellent location for day trips to surrounding areas: Tryon, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Mill Spring, Columbus, Saluda, Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Black Mountain, Asheville, and Blowing Rock.
All TVs come with Directv. Theater room has a 110 inch movie screen, BluRay player, DVR, and Directv movie channels. Complimentary popcorn is provided for the popcorn machine.
Main floor bedroom has a King bed pillow top mattress, ceiling fan, and 32 inch flat panel TV. Double closets offer plenty of storage space. Standard full bath w/ tub/shower combo is directly across from this room.
Upstairs bedroom has a Queen bed, ceiling fan, 32 inch flat panel TV, and ensuite bath with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Living room has a 55 inch flat screen TV. Wifi is FREE.
Kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishware, cookware, utensils, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, and many extras.
Washer/dryer is adjacent to theater room with several laundry pods provided for your stay.
The covered, wrap around deck offers a gas grill (propane included), an outdoor Bluetooth sound system, dining area, as well as a swinging bench to enjoy the waterfall.
Play a game of horseshoes in the back yard, while the little ones ride the miniature zipline.
NOTE: after 1st freezing the waterfall closes and indoor fireplace opens. Guests are provided complimentary firewood for an evening fire for each night of their stay. After the last freezing fireplace closes and waterfall reopens.
Property has outdoor surveillance. Cameras face the zipline, pond, parking lot, and front entrance area. We provide plenty of toilet paper, trash bags, shampoo, and other basic supplies that other homes in our area do not provide.

On the other hand, those who are feeling particularly adventurous can try paddle-boating, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking and climbing. During the summer months, guests should definitely head to Lake Lure. Spend the day splashing in the water and enjoy a picnic on the sandy beach.
Tryon International Equestrian Center is nearby, and is a world-renowned organization where guests can both watch equine competitions or try out riding. Parker-Binns Vineyard is a magnificent place to spend the afternoon, what could be better than drinking wine in an idyllic setting.

The croquet set, zip-line and horseshoe pits in the yard have also proven to be very popular with previous visitors. Children are welcome. Keep in mind the home is not child-proofed. Parents are responsible for inspecting the property before allowing children free reign. Our arrival guidebook goes over the potential dangers of the backyard waterfall.
Guests will need da car, as our rural area has no public transportation. Plan to use a vehicle with four wheel drive (4WD) during periods of snow, as our property is in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
During 1st and last yearly freezing, the waterfall closes. When indoor fireplaces opens, one complimentary bundle of firewood IS provided for each night. of your stay.
If you would like to purchase extra firewood, we can try to arrange that. We just need as much notice as possible.
