Tree houses in North Carolina you can actually rent this weekend!

This charming tree house and hut combination is all about adventure. To get down, guests have at their disposal a spiral staircase, two slides, and a fire pole. There's also a communal zipline, a huge slide, a slackline, a goliath swing, and two porches. Guests should note that it's not suitable for young children due to open porches that are high off the ground.

Underneath the porch of the tree house is the space for cooking and organizing out gear. Just a few steps from the main area is the compost potty hut, which offers privacy. There are two twin beds and an extra cot available in the tree house bedroom. Quarter Moon Hut offers two twin beds which can be put together to form a king-size bed. Towels and linens are not provided so guests should bring their own.

The hosts provided five folding chairs, a propane stove, and wood for the fire pit and cooking, which can be transported with the wheelbarrow at the Hobby Shed. Inside the shed, guests can charge the fan batteries and devices with the plugs by the door. Running water is available at the main house, but guests must bring their own gear and food. Trash must be collected every evening, including the compost potty, to help prevent attracting wildlife.
