This riverfront cabin in the Nantahala National Forest, North Carolina, was custom designed and built with reclaimed wood from the owner's family farm. It is beautifully decorated with meticulously handcrafted furniture and family heirlooms. Nestled right on the river bank, every room in the lodge offers stellar views of the river and surrounding forests. The rental has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first bedroom includes a king-size bed, the second bedroom includes a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom includes two sets of handcrafted bunk beds, accommodating a total of eight guests.

The living area of the rivercabin includes a flat screen television with satellite cable, a DVD player, as well as an impressive fireplace. The dining room table is crafted out of reclaimed chestnut log and oak and can seat up to eight. The kitchen is fully-equipped and includes everything the guest may need during their stay, including a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, coffeemakers and a grinder, a blender, and kitchenware. Outside the cabin, guests will find a cozy campfire area right by the river with a picnic table, charcoal grill, and hammock.

There are a few restrictions when it comes to guests bringing their dogs. Typically, only one dog is allowed at a time, and they must be approved prior to arrival, crate trained, and at least one-year old. Guests should contact the host to discuss any dogs they want to bring along, as the pet fee is considered depending on the length of the stay (max. of $150). A pet policy must be signed in addition to the rental agreement.

There is a $500 refundable damage deposit due 30 days before check-in date. Please inquire with the host for more details.
